Can I rent my property to a foreigner using Rendin?

  • Updated

Yes. It doesn't matter to us what nationality is the resident in Poland. People with PESEL are welcome to use Rendin (as a landlord or tenant). The value proposition is the same for everyone.
Although Rendin does a background check and analyses the payment ability of the tenant, we recommend checking if their documents are in order when the landlord meets the tenant candidate face to face.

If a person has had PESEL for quite some time – no matter the nationality (Polish, Ukrainian, Belarusian etc.) – we can understand their payment behaviour which helps us manage risks.
If a person has received PESEL recently, then we might use additional sources to build trust towards the tenant candidate, e.g. job agreement check, bank statements check or analysis if monthly rental fee and income are in balance.
