Double-checking tenant information by the landlord

  • Updated
Before you sign the rental agreement with the chosen tenant, we strongly recommend you double-check the personal info tenant has given you beforehand. It’s a necessary practice for avoiding potential issues – when handling claims, for example.

What should you review? Compare the tenant’s information in the rental agreement, and one’s personal identification document (ID card, passport, driver’s license or residence permit). The most important parts are:
  • Forename and surname
  • PESEL number
  • Personal identification document’s validity
